YSB announces Safe Place Contest winners

In conjunction with the National Safe Place Awareness Week March 17, the Youth Services Bureau held a Coloring/Art contest for elementary and middle school students. Over 300 elementary students from Lincoln, Andrews and Flint Springs participated, along with three middle school students. The purpose of the event was to bring awareness of the Safe Place program and how Safe Place can help in times of crisis.

“We are excited to announce the winners of the contest were; Maggi Hall a fifth grader from Lincoln, Braxten Davis a third grader at Andrews and Serenity Sadler a second grader at Flint Springs,” shared Chelsea Winner, Safe Place/Host Homes coordinator.
