You're invited to the Statehouse

The Regional Chamber of Northeast Indiana is pleased to announce the next Northeast Indiana Day at the Statehouse. This year’s Statehouse Day will be held on Tuesday, February 21. The Regional Chamber reports that they have another stellar line-up planned for the day and hope to demonstrate a great representation from the region to state officials and to Northeast Indiana Legislators.

Details for the day include:

* A round-trip bus ride to the State Capital to see Northeast Indiana State Legislators in action on Tuesday, February 21.
* The day will include an opportunity to meet with Lieutenant Governor Becky Skillman, Attorney General Greg Zoeller, and State Auditor Tim Berry and will feature informative panel discussions on issues affecting Northeast Indiana.
* Attendees will have lunch with the Northeast Indiana legislative delegation, and hear updates on pressing legislative issues.
* Learn more about Right-to-Work legislation, transportation and infrastructure, revitalizing downtowns and business districts and other issues affecting businesses.
* Cost for the trip is $50 including bus transportation, all programming and materials, and lunch at the Hilton in downtown Indianapolis.

* The event is open to any member of a Northeast Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
* Riding the bus is not a mandatory condition of attending, however, the price is the same regardless.
* The bus will leave the Regional Chamber office, 6714 Pointe Inverness Way at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, February 21. Anticipated return time to Fort Wayne is at approximately 6 p.m.
