Jan Williams, executive director of the Youth Services Bureau of Huntington County, received the 2019 Community Education Award. The award was presented by the Indiana Youth Service Association of Indiana.

“The Community Education Award is presented to the agency or person making the most significant impact in the state through educating the community about issues impacting the lives of youth and their families in Indiana. This person is well-known and respected not only in her service region, but within the youth services field, working locally, statewide and nationally. She shares her knowledge and talents freely on a variety of youth-related topics and IYSA community education initiatives such as suicide prevention, human trafficking, Safe Place and Make Good Decisions. This year’s award winner is an advocate for youth and youth service organizations alike,” said Robin Donaldson, COO of the Indiana Youth Services Association.

The Indiana Youth Services Association has 30 accredited members throughout Indiana. The Youth Services Bureau of Huntington County is located at 1344 Maple Drive. They can be reached by calling (260) 356-9681.
