West Side story comes to Honeywell

Posted: Friday, December 6, 2013

The venerable Broadway musical “West Side Story” brings the greatest love story of all time to the Honeywell Center at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014. “West Side Story,” part of the 2013-2014 season of the Wabash Valley Music Association Series, is presented by Wellbrooke of Wabash.

Fifty years after its Broadway debut, “West Side Story” remains the genre’s best dance-driven musical with extraordinary choreography to American musical theater classics, including “Something’s Coming,” “Tonight,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere” by legendary composers Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim. The revival, based on Tony Award-winning librettist Arthur Laurents’ Broadway direction, remains as powerful, poignant and timely as ever.

Single tickets are $54, $38 and $24 and may be purchased at the box office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling (260) 563.1102 or visiting
