Walk-in clinic to open September 1

Beginning September 1, 2011, Huntington County residents will have access to a walk-in clinic, physician offices, lab and x-ray services and an occupational health office, all under one roof. All are located in the new Parkview Medical Plaza, 2708 Guilford Street, Huntington, next door to Owen’s Supermarket.
The Parkview Physicians Group Family Medicine physicians located in the plaza will be Tina Lawson, MD, Debra Lazzaro, MD, Tony Garrido, MD and Rowena Yu-Mendador, MD. Drs. Lawson and Lazzaro are relocating their office from the medical office building at Parkview Huntington Hospital, and Drs. Garrido and Yu-Mendador, from their office on South Jefferson Street.
The Parkview FirstCare Walk-In Clinic - a new model of care that complements the Huntington Parkview Family Medicine practices, will be open to the public for the treatment of illnesses and minor injuries. Terrence Watson, MD, will be leading the care-team members in the walk-in clinic.
Parkview Occupational Health and Dr. Greg Kniss will be relocating their office from Northpark Avenue. Office hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with after-hours care provided through the FirstCare Walk-In Clinic. In addition, laboratory blood draws and general x-ray services will be provided at the new clinic.
Office hours for Parkview FirstCare Walk-In Clinic are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, and will be open on Saturday and Sunday initially, from 8 a.m. to noon. Parkview Physicians Group – Family Medicine office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Parkview Occupational Health office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Lab office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and X-ray office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
