Victory Noll to offer info on human trafficking

Victory Noll Center has scheduled Service Provision through Their Eyes: A Conference on Human Trafficking for Saturday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The day will provide awareness of the community impact of global human trafficking.

Participants will be educated on the dynamics of sexual victimization and provide understanding to criminal, civil and social service providers on how to improve success in service provision. Issues of compassion fatigue for criminal, civil and social service providers will be addressed.

The day will include a keynote speaker and breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon. Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 8:30 a.m. and lunch is included. The program is in collaboration with Forensic Nursing Specialties Sexual Assault Treatment Center, the Huntington City Police Department and the Huntington County Sheriff’s Department.
