Victory Noll, John XXIII partner

Posted: Friday, May 20, 2011

Hurt can come from any number of painful experiences in life. Maybe life has taken turns that just seem unfair and has left a painful mark. Victory Noll Center in Huntington and John XXIII Retreat Center in Hartford City are partnering to present “Healing for Your Spirit & Soul” on June 11 at Victory Noll Center and a two-day event June 24-25 at John XXIII Retreat Center.

Joining others in community, those attending are encouraged to offer themselves an opportunity for healing. They will experience the healing that God alone can give as Scriptures of healing are explored. The Labyrinth will also be used as a tool for releasing that which binds you and discovering who you might be as you live into healing and wholeness.

Facilitators for the programs are Sister Joetta Huelsmann and Sue Wilhelm, who are both spiritual directors and have facilitated many retreats. Sr. Joetta is the director of John XXIII Retreat Center in Hartford City. Sue Wilhelm is director of Victory Noll Center in Huntington.

The program Saturday, June 11 at Victory Noll Center will run from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for the event is $30. Victory Noll Center is located at 1900 W. Park Drive in Huntington.

The event at John XXIII Retreat Center begins at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 24 and runs through 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25. The cost is $75 for those staying overnight at the center, or $55 for commuters. John XXIII Retreat Center is located at 407 W. McDonald Street in Hartford City.
