Unilever employees, Sell Chiropractic help Love

Posted: Friday, November 30, 2012

Love INC received a sizable donation of toys and health and beauty products from Unilever employees on Friday, November 30. The donation will help Love meet the needs of those in the Christmas Adopt-A-Family program. Love also received 1,870 boxes of macaroni and cheese from Sell Chiropractic Clinic for the Community Food Pantry at Love.

A truckload of toys and products were delivered to St. Peter’s First Community Church by Mark Gehrke, Unilever Logistics Supervisor; Dave Getman, Unilever employee and Sharon Aluma, intern at Unilever. St. Peter’s is the center for wrapping and distribution of gifts and food items for the Love Christmas program. Unilever employees contributed funds and used payroll deductions to purchase all of the donations to Love.

As many Christmas requests were made by children to Love for Indianapolis Colts items, a supervisor at Unilever contacted the marketing manager of the Colts, and Unilever received twenty packages of Colts items for Love’s use. The packages contain items such as Colts paraphernalia, towels, posters, mini footballs and more.

Sell Chiropractic offered free chiropractic treatments in exchange for a contribution of 35 boxes of macaroni and cheese per patient. The result was the large contribution Sell was able to make to Love through his patients.
