Trinity UMC announces trio of upcoming concerts

Trinity United Methodist Church announces a trio of concerts taking place at the church in April. The first being the Easter Season Concert, Sunday, April 8, at 4 p.m. The Easter Season Concert features vocal and instrumental soloists of Trinity and the community, and the Trinity Handbell Ensemble in the first half of the concert, and the Trinity Chancel Choir’s presentation of a choral musical in the second half. This year’s musical is Joseph M. Martin’s “Sanctuary: A Cantata of Hope and Peace.”

Andrew Nesler, pianist, will be featured Saturday, April 14, at 4 p.m. Returning for the third time to the Evensong Concert Series, Andrew Nesler performs in a Saturday concert, as he prepares for his junior recital as a piano performance major at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne. Nesler has been the recipient of numerous awards, including an honorable mention (2015) and later first place prize (2017) at the state-wide Indiana Music Teachers Association Hoosier Auditions.

The Children’s Choir of Huntington County Spring Concert will take place Sunday, April 21, at 4 p.m. The Children’s Choir of Huntington County (CCHC) has been providing a quality choral experience to children of Huntington County for 25 years. The choir will present a selection of works from their repertoire.

Trinity United Methodist Church is located at 530 Guilford Street. Admission is free and the concerts are open to the public. There is handicap accessible parking at the building’s west door 7.
