Trinity U.M. to hold Thanksgiving meal

Trinity United Methodist Church, 350 Guilford Street, is providing a free Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community dinner is in the 27th year and is open to the public and free of charge.

Meals can be delivered to shut-ins and their families and to those who normally receive Meals on Wheels. To request delivery within Huntington County, call the church office at (260) 356-0987, between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., today, Monday and Tuesday, no later than November 20. Anyone unable to call during those hours is asked to contact Jim Wilson at (260) 358-6684. Carry-outs will be available from noon to 1 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day for those who wish to take meals home.

Community volunteers are welcome to help at the church kitchen on Monday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 21 from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers are also welcome on Thanksgiving Day to help serve and deliver meals from 10 a.m. to noon or to help with cleanup from noon to 2 p.m.
