Special Olympics thanks the community

The Huntington County Special Olympics would like to thank the community for its support of the 10th Annual Huntington County Special Olympics Basketball Invitational held at Huntington North High School on January 14.
Fifty teams from 13 Indiana counties brought over 500 Special Olympic athletes, families and friends to the tournament. Without the help of the over 70 volunteers and the many businesses, it would be impossible to have a successful tournament.
A special thank you goes to the major sponsors Huntington County Community School Corporation, Pathfinder Services, Bowers Jewelers, JJ’s, Daniels Automotive and Markle Health and Rehabilitation.
Thank you to Community Link Federal Credit Union, Crain Ford, First Farmers Bank & Trust, McVoy Design Studio, Missy Holly, Northside Cleaners, Owen’s North and Owen’s South, Pizza Hut, The Rusty Dog and Wal-Mart for making the tournament a great success.
