Smith named CEO at Indiana Physical Therapy

Posted: Friday, August 22, 2014

Indiana Physical Therapy (IPT) has named Jon Smith as chief operating officer. Smith will continue to be responsible for the day to day operations of IPT including all services provided in and by the IPT business office. He will additionally represent IPT and its owners in external organizational, operational and licensure matters and issues.

Jon joined IPT in 2007 as an athletic trainer. He then added industrial services coordination and expansion duties to his responsibilities followed by his promotion to referral development manager in 2011. Smith’s exposures to most of the operations of IPT, his successful experience and many accomplishments have given us a strong belief he can help lead IPT in our future endeavors.

IPT, the premier independent provider of outpatient rehabilitation services in northeast Indiana, has experienced significant growth and expansion since being founded in 1988 and has grown to 11 locations including five in Fort Wayne and one each in Angola, Auburn, Bluffton, Huntington, New Haven and Warsaw.  Our industrial and athletic training divisions also provide therapy service options.
