Salamonie Reservoir programs resume

The Salamonie Interpretive Center will be the location for a new schedule of programs for Seniors and children beginning in January. The Interpretive Center is located at Salamonie Reservoir’s Lost Bridge West Recreation Area, 3691 S. New Holland Road, Andrews.

A Salamonie Senior Monday carry-in luncheon will begin at noon on Monday, January 7 and Seniors age 50 and older are invited. Co-authors Deb Dulworth and Linda Hanna will speak about their book, “Reflections of a Stranger,” a murder mystery set in a retirement community. Pre-registration is required and attendees are asked to make a donation to help defray the costs of the provided main dish.

The preschool children’s programs will resume Wednesday, January 23. The theme for that day will be “weather.” Other program dates are February 13, March 13, April 24 and May 22. Programs are offered twice each day at 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m. There is a program fee and pre-registration is requested.
