Ribbon cutting held at Parkview Medical Plaza

The Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the new Parkview Medical Plaza located at 2708 Guilford Street on Saturday, January 14 at 12 noon.

Those in attendance were welcomed by Steve Kimmel, executive director of the Huntington County Chamber of Commerce, and an address by new Huntington Mayor Brooks Fetters followed. Jim Haugel, service line leader for Parkview Health Systems, additionally spoke to the group and Jill Ostrem, chief operating officer for Parkview Physicians Group, and Darlene Garrett, chief operation officer for Parkview Huntington Hospital were on hand as well.

The new Parkview clinic features a variety of services including walk-in care, Parkview Occupational Health, and X-ray and laboratory services and a physician on staff whenever the clinic is open. Additional doctors’ offices in the facility include Tony Garrido, Tina Lawson, Debra Lazzaro and Rowena Yu-Mendador.

Those in attendance were given tours by Parkview employees and treated to an assortment of cheeses, crackers, vegetables, desserts and beverages.
