Regional Partnership looking for 75 millennials

Posted: Friday, July 17, 2015

As some of you may have likely heard, the Global Leadership Summit, will take place on August 6 and 7 in Chicago and will be broadcast in Fort Wayne at the Grand Wayne Center. Sweetwater Sound, an event sponsor, has issued a challenge to the Partnership and the ROC to get 75 millennials to the conference. The millennial generation is the up and coming leaders of this region, and we need to invest today in the leadership of tomorrow.

The Partnership is asking that local employers take advantage of this opportunity, step up to the challenge and send several of your millennial employees (ages 17-35) to attend the two-day Global Leadership Summit event. Millennials will be given a free ticket, sponsored by Sweetwater, Lutheran Health Network, and the Cole Foundation. Please email Kourtney Teegardin with their first and last name and email address by Friday, July 24. This will be first come, first served for the 75 tickets.  They will hear from leadership experts such as Jim Collins, Liz Wiseman and Sally Krawcheck.

As the Fort Wayne Leaders web site says, “Quality leadership is what brings success, and when that leadership is constantly improving, that success will consistently grow.”
