Red Cross to hold evening of 1920s dancing

The American Red Cross in Huntington will hold an evening of mingling, dancing and fun on Friday evening, June 20 during Heritage Days. The LaFontaine Center Ballroom will be the place from 7:30 to 10 p.m. to celebrate Heritage Days with “Guys & Dolls Roaring for the Red.”

The Heritage Days theme for 2014 is “Flourishing in the 1920s” and the community is invited to dress in period clothing and enjoy era appropriate music during the Red Cross event. A DJ will be on hand to coordinate the tunes, and light refreshments along with a cash bar will be available. Dance instructors will be giving free dance lessons from the 20s. A charge of $25 per person will cover the evening’s activities.
