Quilters are invited to participate in the 13th annual Quilt Show hosted by the Historic Forks of the Wabash and the Piecemakers Quilt Club. The show will take place Saturday, April 12, and is an opportunity for quilters to display their creativity and talents.

Six categories will be available for entry including hand quilted, machine quilted, wall hangings and table runners, youth, juvenile and baby items and a miscellaneous category which includes purses, place mats and jackets. The youth category includes ages eight to 17 and it will be judged separately. Items for the youth category should measure no larger than 105 inches and no smaller than 75 inches.

Size guidelines for quilted items in other categories include wall hangings, no more than 48 inches by 48 inches; juvenile and baby quilts, no larger than 72 inches by 72 inches and for the hand and machine quilted category, no larger than 120 inches by 120 inches and no smaller than 80 inches by 80 inches.

A quilter’s garage sale will once again be a part of the show. Donations of quilting items such as scraps of material, quilting books or magazines and quilting tools that are no longer used or wanted are needed. These items are sold at the sale and proceeds go to the next year’s quilt show.
