Posted: Friday, July 5, 2019

The Quayle Vice Presidential Learning Center will be closed for summer break until July 17. Starting July 18, the center will have new hours of Thursdays through Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the general public. Educational, outreach and adult group programs may be scheduled, as always, for Mondays through Fridays. Groups constitute ten or more people for a prescheduled formal program.

The Center’s primary audience is school children through visiting school tour groups and educational outreach programs. The center serves thousands of school children throughout Indiana annually. The center also frequently provides programs for visiting adult and senior groups. For more information, contact the center at (260) 356-6356 or via email at info@historyeducates.org.

The Learning Center is a destination for visitors from around the country, as well as the world, to learn more about the history of the vice presidency and those who have served in the office. The center provides educational programming for schoolchildren throughout Indiana. Twelve educational programs are offered for students in second grade through high school. Each program is unique, covering topics ranging from the history of the vice presidency to the workings of state and federal government. The center’s activities may be followed via its website, www.historyeducates.org or becoming a Facebook fan at Quayle Vice Presidential Learning Center – Huntington, Indiana.
