Posted: Friday, March 13, 2015

The Historic Forks of the Wabash and Piece Makers Quilt Club will hold the 14th annual Quilt Show on Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19. Quilters are being sought who would like to share their quilted items with the public.

Six categories will be included in the show: hand quilted quilts, machine quilted quilts, wall hangings and table runners, youth, juvenile and baby quilts and a miscellaneous category which includes purses, place mats and jackets.

Guidelines as to size on quilted items will be the same as last year. Wall hanging should be no more than 48 by 48 inches. Sizes for juvenile and baby quilts are no larger than 72 by 72 inches. Sizes for hand and machine quilted categories should be no larger than 120 by 120 inches but no smaller than 80 by 80 inches.

Ages for the youth category are eight years to 17 years old and those entries will be judged by themselves. Items for the youth category should measure no larger than 105 inches and no smaller than 75 inches.

There is no fee to enter and the deadline is Friday, April 10. To participate, call the Forks of the Wabash at (260) 356-1903.
