PHH Guild donates graduates T-shirts

Posted: Friday, August 2, 2013

Patients who complete physical, occupational or speech therapy at Parkview Huntington Hospital now have something extra to mark their accomplishment. Therapy graduates receive T-shirts from the hospital’s Rehab and Wellness Department as a “graduation gift” when their course of treatment is complete.

The shirts bear the department’s insignia on the chest and the slogan, “For EveryBODY” on the back. Parkview Huntington Hospital Guild has covered the cost of the shirts as a gift to the therapy programs through the Parkview Huntington Foundation.

“Each T-shirt is presented to the patient with a certificate to the patient noting that the shirt is compliments of our Guild in appreciation for choosing PHH rehab for therapy services,” said Holly Sale, Rehab and Wellness Department director. Sale said she expects approximately 500 patients to complete therapy through PHH rehab in 2013.

The new therapy T-shirts will be given to patients who “graduate” from physical, occupational or speech therapy programs at the Parkview Huntington Hospital and are funded by the Parkview Huntington Hospital Guild.
