Pathfinder to participate in Giving Tuesday Now

Posted: Friday, May 1, 2020

Pathfinder Services is taking part in a new global day of giving called Giving Tuesday Now on May 5, to help fund the unexpected and unforeseeable needs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Agencies across the country and around the world are asking for the much-needed charitable support for people we serve, many of whom are more susceptible to complications if infected by the COVID-19 virus. We are continuously seeking to balance the need for self-isolation with offering active life-enhancing services. As we prepare for the uncertainties of COVID-19 infection rates over the next 12 months, we will need to respond quickly to changing environment and service needs.

“In this time of finding new ways to support those we serve, we ask that those who are able to help do so on Giving Tuesday Now,” says John Niederman, president and CEO of Pathfinder Services. “We are and will continue to utilize more cleaning supplies, personal protective equipment, and new technology to communicate remotely, which means new and increased costs. We are asking for your financial support with gratefulness for any support you can provide.”

Giving Tuesday Now is a time for all of us to come together in generosity, engagement, and action to support communities and nonprofit organizations around the world.

Pathfinder Services is a non-for-profit organization that thrives with the support and generosity of community members and businesses who care about our mission. That support and generosity will mean even more over the next year.
