Posted: Friday, May 7, 2021

Pathfinder Services HomeOwnership Center received a $7,000 grant from Old National Bank Foundation on Tuesday, May 4 at the Fort Wayne office, located at 1005 West Rudisill Boulevard, Suite 301. The grant will support the HomeBuyer Education and Counseling Program at the Pathfinder Services HomeOwnership Center.

“We know that homeownership plays a critical role in building strong communities,” says Kara Densmore, executive administrative assistant at Old National Bank Foundation. “We are committed to helping make improvements in all areas we serve, and this is one way we are thrilled to be able to offer help.”

Funding for the program will specifically serve low-income and moderate-income families in their journey to becoming first-time homebuyers.

“We are grateful for our partnership with Old National Bank Foundation,” says Jeff Teusch, Pathfinder HomeOwnership Center director. “Together, we are committed to teaching financial literacy and sustainability to those working hard to make their dream of homeownership come true.”

The Old National Bank Foundation makes contributions to nonprofit organizations to fund widespread community impact programs and/or projects. The Foundation is part of Old National’s overall charitable giving initiative, which enables us to support programs that improve quality of life in areas of Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin, where clients, associates and shareholders live and work.

Pathfinder Services HomeOwnership Center, a NeighborWorks organization, is a nonprofit, one-stop shop for homebuyers. The mission is to help people with financial challenges set up and follow a plan to realize their dream of homeownership.
