Pathfinder Services moves Annual Dinner online

Posted: Friday, September 25, 2020

Pathfinder Services is moving the 2020 Annual Dinner to an online recognition video celebration.

Each year, Pathfinder Services dedicates an evening to celebrating accomplishments and recognizing individuals for outstanding dedication in the creation of opportunities for those we serve to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Given the circumstances of COVID-19 and the priority to protect our award recipients, guests, staff, and all those served through Pathfinder Services, we will be moving the in-person event to an online video celebration.

“We believe it is extremely important to recognize those who go above and beyond for those we serve,” says Danielle Tips, president and CEO of Pathfinder Services. “By recording a video to be played on social media that highlights this year’s award recipients, we are able to share our gratitude to an even larger audience and give the honorees the opportunity to share it as well.”

In addition to an address by Tips, the video will highlight the recipients of our three annual awards. The Timothy Hancher Direct Support Service Award is given to an outstanding Direct Support Professional within Pathfinder Services. The Chant Thompson HERO Award honors an individual who exemplifies the qualities of a hero. The recipient is selected by the Pathfinder Services board of directors.  The prestigious Herbert D. LaMont Award is given to an individual or organization making an extra effort to assist persons with developmental disabilities in Huntington County.

The video will premiere at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 12 on our Pathfinder Services Facebook page at
