Owners upgrading Norwood, hiring employees

Posted: Thursday, October 2, 2014

The new owners of Norwood Golf Course, Jason Kennedy, Lee Cutting and Kevin Killen have been putting in some serious hours and funds to improve their new golf course. The trio took ownership of the course on July 1 of this year.

According to Kennedy, “We had fifty new 2015 Yamaha golf carts delivered this week, and have now spent close to $250,000 upgrading our cart fleet and golfing experience.”

Kennedy went on to say, “We have made some new hires recently including Patrick Davis, former general manager of Lafontaine Golf Club, who officially started his new position on October 1. Davis has been named Director of the Pro Shop. His duties will include overseeing the pro shop staffing, inventory, golf outing coordination, membership services and recruitment and corporate sales.”

Kennedy continued, “Garin Stephan, formerly of Lafontaine Golf Club and The Brick House Grill restaurant has accepted the position of Director of Food and Beverages at Norwood. Stephan is currently working on a menu for the public and reception/catering opportunities. Also, hired was Tony Bost as our golf course maintenance supervisor. We’re excited to have Davis, Stephan, and Bost join our team.”
