New shows booked by Honeywell, tickets on sale

More new shows have been added to the Honeywell Center’s entertainment roster, three of which are making debut performances. The shows include, Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos, The Oak Ridge Boys, Craig Ferguson and RENT. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 22 at 10 a.m.

The Honeywell Center welcomes Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos to perform in Legacy Hall on Friday, July 27 at 7:30 p.m., to “rock” the crowd with a vast selection of popular hits of today and yesterday, making for a total entertainment experience. The rousing performances of Howl at the Moon Dueling Pianos never fail to get people off their seats and onto the dance floor.

This unique music group consists of two baby grand pianos and a backup band with drums, guitar and various other instruments. Get ready for a high-energy and highly entertaining experience. Tickets are $20 per person.

Returning to the Honeywell Center’s Ford Theater stage will be the Oak Ridge Boys with their Shine the Light on Christmas performance on Saturday, November 24 at 7:30 p.m. The four-part harmonies and upbeat songs of The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of Country hits and a Number One Pop smash, earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA, and ACM awards and garnered a host of other industry and fan accolades. Every time they step before an audience, the Oaks bring four decades of charted singles, and 50 years of tradition, to a stage show widely acknowledged as among the most exciting anywhere. Comedian and late-night talk show host Craig Ferguson will make his Ford Theater debut on Sunday, November 25 at 7:30 p.m. Ferguson entered the world of comedy following a diverse and eclectic career that encompasses film, television and the stage. In 2014, he concluded his ten-year run as the host of CBS’s The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, which set all-time viewer records and earned him a Primetime Emmy nomination. He currently hosts The Craig Ferguson Show, broadcast live every evening during Comedy Greats on SiriusXM. Ferguson’s show is for mature audiences. Coming to the Honeywell Center on Sunday, December 9 at 3 p.m. will be the Broadway musical RENT. This popular Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning landmark rock musical premiered off-Broadway in 1996, soon to become a phenomenon. The storyline is about a group of people, all interconnected and living in the city. Each of their lives unfold as they try to make ends meet, make friends and search for love. RENT is more than a show; it’s a phenomenon – a theatrical experience that transformed a generation’s perception of musicals – and changed Broadway forever. RENT is also for mature audiences. Tickets are $46 and $58.
