Multigenerational workforce training

Posted: Friday, January 4, 2013

United Way of Huntington County and the Youth Services Bureau will be sponsoring a multigenerational workforce training on Friday, January 11 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The event will take place at St. Peter’s First Community Church located at 206 Etna Avenue. The cost is $20 per person.

The training is a fun and engaging workshop that will provide the participants with an understanding of the different generations in the workplace and what makes each important to a business’s team. It will identify effective management strategies for the multi-generational workplaces and will help participants discover key strategies to recruit, manage and retain the millennial employees.

“Jennifer Fischer is a high energy, engaging and fun speaker who will provide those in attendance with many moments of light bulbs going off periods during this training,” states Jan Williams, YSB Director and past participant of this training.

Registrations with payment can be sent to United Way, P.O. Box 347, Huntington, Indiana 46750. Deadline to guarantee a seat for this training is Wednesday, January 9.  For more information contact United Way at 356-6160 or the Youth Services Bureau at 356-9681.
