Posted: Friday, October 25, 2019

Registration is now open for the Millennial Change Agent Conference: “Rise Up” on Saturday, November 23, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Parkview Mirro Center for Research and Innovation.

Presented by Parkview Community Partner Development Center, this dynamic conference was created to inspire and motivate millennials to get involved and make a difference in their communities.

“The aim is to engage millennials by providing opportunities for consistent growth and development,” said Myqueisha Bratton, MS, community partner initiative coordinator, Parkview Health. “This conference will not only provide inspiration, but also allow guests to network and build peer relationships that will follow them throughout their careers into leadership. If you were born between 1978 and 1996, you’re a millennial, and this event is just for you.”

Keynote presenter Eric Thomas, Ph.D., author, motivational speaker, educator and pastor, will share his journey and the story behind his quote, “When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you’ll be successful.” Better known as, “ET, the hip hop preacher,” Eric is renowned for his creative style and high-energy messages.

Individual registration is $25, or tables of eight are $175. Seating is limited and registration will close once capacity is reached. To learn more or to register, visit
