McKenzie’s Hope open to serve adult victims

McKenzie’s Hope opened its doors in 2006 as Huntington County’s Child Advocacy Center, to help in the ongoing fight against child abuse. In the 13 years they have been open the agency have seen roughly 1,500 children.

McKenzie’s Hope works with local law enforcement, department of child services and the prosecutor’s office to help these children on the path of healing from their trauma. Over the years serving children, they have come to realize that children are not the only victims of violence and abuse.

McKenzie’s Hope has now opened its doors to serve adult victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault. They have continued to work as a team to provide the best services possible to these adult victims. McKenzie’s Hope believes everyone deserves a life free from abuse.
