Posted: Friday, July 28, 2017

McKenzie’s Hope, 1175 Etna Avenue, Suite E, was named Chamber Business of the Month for August by the Chamber Ambassadors. McKenzie’s Hope is a not-for-profit center that assists with child abuse investigations in Huntington County.

Since the center opened in January 2006, it has advocated 1,385 cases and currently between 100-125 cases per year according to Jessica Broyles, executive director. Broyles continued, “Our purpose is to seek justice, reduce trauma and bring hope to the family.” McKenzie’s Hope was given the name in memory of MicKenzie Brown, who was murdered by her father in Huntington County in February 2000. The Chamber of Commerce congratulates McKenzie’s Hope, Jessica Broyles and its board of directors for the difficult work they do on a daily basis.
