Mayor Strick reads to children at Kids Kampus

Posted: Friday, March 19, 2021

Pathfinder Services and the City of Huntington are collaborating to celebrate March as Disability Awareness Month with several events.

Mayor Richard Strick read to children for Story Time with the Mayor last week at Pathfinder Kids Kampus at 435 Campus Street in Huntington.

Pathfinder Kids Kampus is an integrated facility that serves children of all abilities in the same learning space. Kids Kampus offers part-time and full-time traditional childcare to children six weeks through age 12. They also offer an Early Head Start program, which includes center-based, home-based and prenatal options. This program is offered at no cost to low-income and foster families in need of childcare. EHS utilizes a holistic approach to help parents and children meet individualized goals.

Today and every Friday in March, those at Pathfinder Services and throughout the City of Huntington are wearing purple for general awareness of Disability Awareness Month.
