Pathfinder Kids Kampus, the child care division of Pathfinder Services, is pleased to announce two new staff members who have joined the team of educators at the licensed child care facility.

Alysia Marshall-Seslar is the new Early Head Start assistant director, a gap created by Elizabeth Hire’s recent promotion to interim administrator/Early Head Start director. Marshall-Seslar holds an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and lives in Bluffton with her husband. Early Head Start at Pathfinder Kids Kampus serves infants, toddlers up to three years of age and pregnant women and their families who qualify based on income.

Kendra Anspaugh started in her role as the On My Way Pre-K lead teacher mid-July. The On My Way Pre-K program allows for Pathfinder Kids Kampus to provide free kindergarten and school readiness services to ten four year olds during the 2017-18 school year. Anspaugh holds a Preschool CDA (child development associate certification) and lives in Markle with her husband.

“We are happy to have Alysia and Kendra on board at Pathfinder Kids Kampus. They both care a great deal about early childhood education and understand the impact early learning can have on a child’s growth, development and success in life,” stated Elizabeth Hire, interim administrator/Early Head Start director for Pathfinder Kids Kampus.

Pathfinder Kids Kampus, offers Early Head Start programming for children up to three and expectant mothers, along with child care for children from six weeks to age 12 and preschool. Pathfinder Kids Kampus is a Level 3 Paths to QUALITY Provider and is the only licensed child care center in Huntington County. Pathfinder Kids Kampus is also an On My Way Pre-K provider.
