The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce will host a Lunch ’n Learn on OSHA compliance and safety on Friday, June 25. The seminar will be presented by Ray Gage of WalkerHughes Insurance. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Faith Community Church, 3615 N. Norwood Road.

Gage will speak on the new compliance and safety requirements under the Biden administration. Some of the topics discussed will include: OSHA and how the new leadership will increase the burden on employers, COVID-19 and the challenges employers can expect from a federal level regarding workplace requirements and PPP and the potential impact to loan forgiveness in relation to OSHA safety compliance. Gage will address these issues and more. There will also be a time at the end of the seminar for a Q&A.

This Lunch ’n Learn is not only for human resource managers, but anyone looking for information about the many changes that will affect employers and employees alike as we begin to emerge from the pandemic. Bring your questions and plan to walk away from the event with the knowledge you will need as we begin to reopen the economy.
