Little Blessings hires director, assistant director

The board of directors of Little Blessings Child Care Ministry, Inc. is proud to introduce the new director and assistant director for the facility. The facility is located at 1226 N. Jefferson Street.
Stephanie Nielsen assumed the role as the director for Little Blessings Child Care Ministry on Tuesday, January 3. Nielsen is relatively new to Huntington and lives here with her husband and two of her children. Prior to moving to Huntington, she worked as a quality daycare provider at the Nurtury Developmental Childcare and Pre-school in Bristol, Virginia/Tennessee. She worked with children of all ages at that facility; planning, developing and executing activities to support their mental and physical growth. Nielsen brings a cheerful disposition, a love of children, and a passion for the ministry of the facility.
In addition, Shallie Brown has returned to Little Blessings and has been hired to serve as assistant director. Brown also lives in rural Huntington with her husband and daughter. She will serve as both a caregiver and will assist with food program management, weekly billing, fundraising, providing tours of the facility and other duties needed to support the director.
Little Blessings Child Care Ministry, is a full service childcare facility devoted to providing a loving, caring and learning atmosphere for all children to grow. Little Blessings has been serving youth of Huntington since it opened in May of 2002. Little Blessings has current openings for children age six weeks to 12 years.
