Library announces book club meetings

The Huntington City-Township Public Library announces the reads for its various book club meetings taking place in September.

Fiction Lovers’ Book Club is a club for adults who enjoy reading anything fiction. They will meet Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Huntington Library to discuss The Bear and the Nightingale by Katherine Arden.

The Markle Branch Library’s Book Club meets at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 23. They will be discussing Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate. This is a great club for anyone in the Markle area who wants to read interesting books, fiction and non-fiction alike.

The History Book Club will discuss Manhunt: The 12 Day Chase for Lincoln’s Killer by James Swanson this month at the Huntington Library at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, September 25. If you’re a history buff, this club is for you.

The Fabulous Foodies Cookbook Club will chat about cookbooks and recipes related to stocking up on food and meals, and filling the freezer. This club will meet Thursday, September 26 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Library.

All book clubs at both the Huntington and Markle libraries are open to any adult who wishes to join.
