Libraries to hold book club meetings in August

The Huntington City-Township Public Library announces the reads for its various book club meetings taking place in August.

Fiction Lovers’ Book Club is a club for adults who enjoy reading anything fiction. They will meet August 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Huntington Library to discuss The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

The Fabulous Foodies Cookbook Club will chat about cookbooks and recipes related to non-processed and all-natural foods. This club will meet August 22 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Library.

The Markle Branch Library’s Book Club meets at 5 p.m. on August 26. They will be discussing The Storied life of A.J. Fikry by Gabrielle Zevin. This is a great club for anyone in the Markle area who wants to read interesting books, fiction and non-fiction alike.

The History Book Club will this month discuss The Guns of August by Barbara Tuchman at the Huntington Library at 6 p.m. on August 28. For history buffs, this club is for you.

All book clubs at both the Huntington and Markle libraries are open to any adult who wishes to join.
