Learning Center holds press conference

The newest contributors to the proposed Huntington County Community Learning Center were introduced at a press conference on Thursday, September 18. PHD, Inc. and Huntington University have both vowed their support to the future development.

The pair will contribute a total of $100,000 to the Learning Center for every dollar raised by the development team toward a $200,000 goal. The total cost of the project toward opening the center is estimated at $1.3 million. It was also announced that more than $822,000 is currently secured.
