Posted: Thursday, October 11, 2018

A Chamber After Hours and an open house was held at the Huntington County Community Learning Center last evening, October 11. The event showcased the facility and the many educational programs available there.

The Learning Center opened with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, September 15, 2016 and the number of classes offered since that time have grown substantially. Tours of the facility were held and personnel from the Learning Center, Ivy Tech and Huntington University were on hand to speak with those in attendance. Thanks also goes out to staff members from Huntington North High School, WorkOne Northeast, Impact Institute and the Huntington County 4-H Robotics Team 1501.

Shown in the photo above is a competing robot, constructed by the Huntington County 4-H Robotics Team 1501, which is one of the groups which meets at the Learning Center.
