Lake City presents check to Learning Center

Lake City Bank, 1501 N. Jefferson Street, presents some of the members of the Learning Center Development Team with a check for $1,000 on Friday, January 30. The money will put towards the launch of the Huntington County Community Learning Center.

The newly proposed Learning Center will be located at the Huntington County Community School Corporation’s Vocational Technical Center at 2201 N. Jefferson. The center is located next to Bob Evans Restaurant.

The Learning Center will provide training and education for students and adults to meet employer needs. Ivy Tech Corporate College will provide the workforce training solutions for the needs of businesses, industry, organizations and individuals.
