Knights of Columbus to dedicate new facility

The Knights of Columbus will hold a dedication and blessing of their new facility on Theater Avenue Saturday, June 16. The event will begin at 1 p.m. with a membership picture scheduled for 1:45 p.m.

A ribbon cutting will take place at 2 p.m. opening the new Knights of Columbus facility for business. Bishop John D’Arcy will give the blessing and Mayor Brooks Fetters will issue a proclamation.

A food bar will be available until 6 p.m. for $5 per person or $20 per family for the day. Wristbands will be issued for the food, and those over 21 and wishing to purchase alcohol will receive a different wristband. Those planning to purchase alcohol will need to bring along a photo I.D.

Musical entertainment will be provided by the Roanoke Rounders from 5 to 7 p.m. and by Nate Kaufman from 7 to 9 p.m.
