Kids Kampus receives $17,000 toy donation

Posted: Friday, December 20, 2019

Pacers Sports and Entertainment, the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Jakks Pacific Toys joined forces on Thursday, December 19, to donate more than $17,000 worth of toys to the children served at Pathfinder Kids Kampus in Huntington.

“Thanks to the unbelievable generosity of these organizations, every child served at Kids Kampus will have two brand new toys for Christmas this year,” says John Niederman, president and CEO of Pathfinder Services. “For some of our families, these are the only presents they will have this holiday season, so it means the world to them and to us.”

Not only is this the second year in a row that Kids Kampus was one of the non-profits chosen to receive a toy donation, the Mad Ants doubled the donation this year.

“We are thrilled to be able to partner with the Pacers and Jakks to bring Christmas cheer to children around the area,” says Allison Link, account executive with the Mad Ants. “We know the importance of connecting with the community and this is just one way we are able to give back and make a difference.”

From Batman to Superman to Wonder Woman to The Incredibles, nearly 450 brand new toys filled the Playscape area of Kids Kampus. The children were able to see all of the toys and understand that it was all thanks to the generosity of others.
