INM Electric offers free upgrades

Posted: Thursday, August 22, 2013

INM Electric, an electrical contractor in Huntington, will help businesses upgrade their current electrical fixtures. Through the Energizing Indiana program, combining Energy Provider and Fixture Manufacturer’s rebates, Paul Augspurger, project manager, will be able to provide this service for 100 percent of material and labor costs.

Wasted energy from inefficient equipment can be costly to a business. The Energizing Indiana program is helping the effort to decrease this waste with the Commercial and Industrial Prescriptive Rebate Program. It provides a business with up to $20,000 or more in rebates based of the installation of energy efficient equipment and system improvements. Upgrades can include lighting, HVAC, Variable Frequency Drives and efficient ENERGY STAR commercial kitchen appliances. The new fixture installations must be contracted by September 30 and installed by November 30.

Energizing Indiana is also looking for ways to increase its support of Hoosier communities its serves. For every approved application submitted, a nonprofit will receive an incentive form Energizing Indiana equal to 5 percent of the total rebate amount. For more information visit the website
