Indiana’s Primary Election postponed until June 2

With Indiana's Primary Election postponed until June 2, key dates for registration and voting have changed. The latest information is detailed here. It is subject to change.

Absentee voting has been made available to anyone who wants to vote by mail. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is May 4.

To obtain an absentee ballot, call Huntington County Voter Registration Clerk Yvette Runkle at (260) 358-4820 between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or download the ABS-MAIL application from

Completed absentee ballot applications should be emailed to, faxed to (260) 358-4880 or mailed to Huntington County Clerk's Office, Election Division, 202 N. Jefferson St. - Room 202, Huntington, IN 46750.

Early voting now is anticipated to open at the Huntington County Courthouse starting May 5. Expected hours are: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, from May 5 to May 29; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturdays, May 23 and 30; 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, June 1.

Early voting dates and times for locations other than the Huntington County Courthouse have not yet been announced.
