Indiana Tech offers assistance to community

Posted: Friday, April 17, 2020

In an effort to help those in our community who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, Indiana Tech’s Huntington location at 2809 Commercial Road set up a food donation table in early April. Staff from Indiana Tech purchased food items for the table, and members of the community have also dropped off donations to keep the table going.

While the table isn’t outside every day, staff from Indiana Tech set it up as donations are received and food is available. It’s open to anyone in the community.

The staff at Indiana Tech send appreciation to all of the members of the community who have helped keep the table going, and a special thank you to the generous donor who recently dropped off Easter baskets and packaged treats. Donations can be left outside the front doors at Indiana Tech, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. If the table is set up, food items can be placed directly on the table. Questions about donations can be emailed to jahendryx@indianatech.edu.
