Indiana Physical Therapy to open new clinic

Indiana Physical Therapy (IPT) announces the May 19 opening of its newest Fort Wayne clinic. The new clinic will be located at 9902 Illinois Road in Fort Wayne.

The approximately 3,200 square foot clinic will be more easily accessible for patients and is conveniently located on the southwest side of Fort Wayne at the corner of Illinois and Scott Roads close to many retail and restaurant locations, according to company officials. IPT is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays.

Karena Schroeder, DPT, has been promoted to senior therapist at the Illinois Road Clinic. Schroeder graduated from the University of Indianapolis with a doctorate degree in physical therapy. She has worked at IPT for eight years. Schroeder is a certified orthopedic manual therapist and has additional training in myofascial release. Schroeder is also experienced with treatment of the spine and headaches. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and her experience ranges from treating newborns to the elderly and everything in between.
