Posted: Thursday, May 11, 2017

A Chamber After Hours will be held at the Indiana Dream Center women’s home, 1330 College Avenue, on Thursday, May 18. The event will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. and the community is invited to attend and learn more about the mission of the Indiana Dream Center.

The Indiana Dream Center’s Discipleship homes exist to serve men and women that are actively searching for a new life by providing them with tools, services and housing. The Dream Center’s desire is to see individuals free from all life-controlling issues, through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. This is accomplished through reaching out with love, mercy, compassion, mentorship and Biblical teachings. The desire is to see God-given dreams fulfilled as they provide job training and services to excel in a new life.

The Indiana Dream Center offers a full range of services to their residents, regardless of their background, denomination or social status. Dream Centers serve men and women 18 to 59 years of age that are willing to let go of their old life and desire a new one, one free from life-controlling issues. The discipleship homes are designed to host a one-year residential program, structured in four levels: orientation consisting of four weeks of preparation for the discipleship program; levels one to four include: Biblical teaching, service projects, job training, discussion groups, church services and personal/housekeeping responsibilities. The discipleship homes are funded by monthly sponsors, thrift store donations and private monetary donations.

The Indiana Dream Center’s corporate office is located at 1312 Flaxmill Road. For more information, reach the office by calling (260) 200-1155.
