iAB partners with local charitable organizations

Posted: Friday, November 14, 2014

Employees at iAB Financial Bank spent Tuesday, November 11, Veterans Day in service to over 20 local charitable organizations by participating in iAB’s 2nd Annual iCare Day. iCare Day is an annual event where iAB initiates works of service to others in order to give back to local communities and commemorate their anniversary as a bank.

Local non-profit facilities in Allen, Huntington and Wells counties opened their doors in partnership to over 270 iAB employees. This special day of outreach resulted in making a difference in the lives of thousands of individuals in the surrounding communities.

Completing such tasks as painting, cleaning, landscaping, packing donation boxes and serving and preparing meals for veterans, all iAB employees volunteered their time while the bank was closed in observance of Veteran’s Day. The efforts came as part of iAB’s continued commitment to giving back to the communities they serve.

“We look forward each year to our iCare Day and the significance it holds for us as an organization.” stated Karen J. Cameron, iAB executive vice president. “It’s a day we can join hands with our communities and partner to make positive change for everyone.”
