iAB giving back to local organizations

Posted: Friday, November 7, 2014

Employees with iAB Financial Bank will once again give back to organizations in the community by participating in their 2nd Annual iCare Day. Working at over 20 local non-profit facilities in Allen, Huntington and Wells counties, iAB employees will be spending time accomplishing various tasks for the charities. iCare Day was specifically initiated by iAB to commemorate their anniversary as a bank and to recognize what can be accomplished when everyone works together to make a difference in the lives of others. Thousands of individuals in the surrounding communities will benefit from the efforts of iAB’s iCare Day.

All iAB offices will be closed on November 11 to observe Veteran’s Day; however, the employees of iAB will spend the day volunteering their time and efforts towards such tasks as painting, cleaning, landscaping, packing donation boxes and serving and preparing meals for veterans. These efforts come as part of iAB’s continued commitment to giving back to the communities they serve. “iAB is very proud to be a community partner and each individual takes their commitment to our core values of integrity, accountability and brotherhood seriously,” stated Michael C. Marhenke, iAB president and CEO. “When we work together, we truly maximize the power of partnership.”

Some of the organizations iAB will be working with on iCare Day are the Indiana Dream Center Thrift Store, 515 North Jefferson Street and Master’s Pantry, 171 East Morse Street in Markle.
