Huntington Metro Kiwanis installs new officers

Huntington Metro Kiwanis recently held installation for their new officers. Dan Rumple was installed as president by the Past Wabash Valley Lieutenant Governor; Jack Amick also installed Terry Oden, president-elect and Rita Dinius secretary/treasurer.

Terry Oden, Steve Williams, Judy Deluca and Kevin Amick were all installed as board members.

Huntington Metro Kiwanis provides scholarships to local youth and supports projects such as the Ronald McDonald House, Terrific Kids, Huntington County PAL Baseball and Huntington County Outstanding 8th graders. They also support Lincoln Buddy, Lap Reading and Boy Scouts. Kiwanis is a thriving organization of service and community minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. More than 600,000 Kiwanis-family members in 96 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling resources to address worldwide issues. Through these efforts, Kiwanis truly is “Serving the Children of the World.”
