Huntington, Markle libraries to hosting sessions

Posted: Friday, June 14, 2019

The Huntington and Markle libraries will host two Try It Together craft sessions this summer. The goal of the Try It Together series is to bring adults together to create fun art projects with other members in the community. The first session will be held Monday, June 17 at 6 p.m. at the Markle Branch Library and Tuesday, June 18 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Main library.

Those who attend will get to try their hand at painting a galaxy using fun paint techniques. The second session will take place Monday, July 15 at 6 p.m. at the Markle Library and Tuesday, July 16 at 6 p.m. at the Huntington Library. The craft will be creating bottle lanterns from old liquor bottles, paint and string LED lights.

Due to limited supplies, both sessions require registration. To sign up, visit the library’s website at http://hctpl.info/program-reg or sign up in person at either library. The Huntington Library is located at 255 W. Park Drive, Huntington; the Markle Branch at 155 W. Sparks Street, Markle.
