Huntington Lions installs officers

The Huntington Lions Club installed new officers and celebrated Ladies’ Night on Monday evening, June 20. Jim Barron, comedian/magician, entertained the group of Lions and their wives at the Habecker Dining Commons on the campus of Huntington University.

Lew King, Governor Elect of District 25 Lions, installed officers, Gerald Smelser, president; Mike Rowley, vice president; Vern Poling, secretary and Marland Sell, treasurer by using examples from the United States Flag. New board of director’s members installed included Tom Sieberns, Steve Fulton and Doug Waldfogel.

The group enjoyed a delicious meal followed by Steve Kimmel introducing Barron who is a world renowned entertainer and has a morning radio show on WBCL. Barron used several club members as part of his show.
